As a leading international player in the luxury industry, this group has been collaborating with VPWhite for several years to manage and optimise its social reporting processes. The partnership is built on proven expertise in the digitalisation and structuring of non-financial reporting.

To meet growing disclosure requirements, initially under the NFRD and now reinforced by the CSRD, the group needed a robust and efficient social reporting system—one that guarantees the quality and reliability of collected and published data.

A timeline of a successful collaboration

Before 2018: technical support for reporting campaigns
VPWhite began its partnership with the group by providing targeted technical and functional support during social reporting campaigns. This initial phase involved managing the reporting tool and responding to specific, time-sensitive needs.
Since 2018: delegated administration for greater reliability
VPWhite's role expanded to include the coordination of reporting campaigns, oversight of contributor actions, and the consolidation and validation of social data. This delegated administration ensured regular and rigorous monitoring of social performance indicators and helped the group prepare ahead of audits.
2024: strategic review of the reporting system
VPWhite was then entrusted with a comprehensive review of the group’s social reporting system and data governance processes. The project, delivered as part of a Target Operating Model (TOM) initiative.

This approach was based on
  • Interviews and surveys with internal teams to gather feedback and user experience
  • A full mapping of existing processes
  • A benchmark of practices across the group and peer companies in the luxury sector, focusing on governance, processes, and tools
  • The design of a standardised reporting procedure, including best practices and recommendations based on our experience with other companies and auditing teams
