Situated in central London – to support our EMEA customers and in order to fuel our growth –we are currently looking for an ambitious open minded Junior ESG Consultant to join our team and work on sustainability digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-financial and financial reporting software, with a particular emphasis on non-financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven results-oriented Junior ESG Consultant to join our dynamic team in the London office. As a Junior ESG Consultant specialising in sustainability digital transformation, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and supporting our non-financial and financial reporting software solutions. You will be responsible for assisting with project implementation, providing business and technical support to clients, as well as contributing to data management and reporting processes.

Working within out ESG/Sustainability team, the Impact Team, you will engage directly on projects with one of our Senior ESG Consultants. You will collaborate with some of the biggest brands in the world to identify, support and deliver their sustainability and corporate social responsibility strategies.  You will support our best-in-class advisory, technical leadership and strategic thinking surrounding VPWhite’s customer’s CSR-ESG initiatives.

Our Impact team offers personalised support services to our clients and constantly adapts to the very dynamic context of the CSR-ESG world.  From our office in London, UK, we seekapplicants with at least 2 years of experience in the areas of digital configuration, transformation and customisation of non-financial reporting software with a focus or passion on CSR (sustainability, carbon management, CSR reporting & auditing).  Enjoy the entrepreneurial adventure and help us develop activities.  

As a Junior ESG Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

Project Implementation :
  • Assist in the implementation of sustainability digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines
  • Running client workshops to capture client requirements
  • Configure non-financial and financial reporting software to meet client needs
  • Support the development of project plans, schedules, and documentation;specifically writing as well as maintaining technical documentation
  • Test and integrate the developed solutions
Client Support :
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and designing solutions for clients using sustainability reporting software
  • Conduct training sessions, including workshops, for client teams to ensure successful software adoption
  • Gather and analyse client requirements to deliver tailored solutions.
Data Management :
  • Assist in data integration and migration processes, ensuring complete accurate delivery of our solutions
  • Support clients in data collection, validation, and reporting processes for sustainability metrics
Collaboration :
  • Work closely with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed

Skills and Experience

The person we are looking for, has the following experience:

  • You have a degree or equivalent in Sustainability and ESG or similar related experience in the field
  • You are able to demonstrate related professional experience (including internships)
  • Working with digital solutions that have a focus on non-financial reporting, financial reporting software is a beneficial but not mandatory
  • A passion for sustainability with experience in metrics and reporting frameworks being advantageous
  • Knowledge of data management, technical configuration and integration techniques
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within sustainability projects
  • Demonstrated ability to support the implementation of software solutions
  • Examples of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills or certifications are an advantage
  • Your curiosity and open-mindedness allow you to work on a wide variety of business and/or technical challenges.
